Territorial development.

The Axis 4 aims at enhancing internal cohesion and a balanced territorial development. Interventions address the reduction of growth-gaps between different territorial areas, by promoting a uniform development of urban areas, a greater integration of mountain areas with the rest of the production system and the economic and social refreshment of lagoon areas.

Through this objective, the two strategic priorities pursued are:
- Increasing the competitiveness of marginal areas;
- improving the use of goods and services in regional territory.

The axis 4 aims at stimulating initiatives - above all those with touristic purposes - valorizing local, cultural, natural and environmental resources and development initiatives addressing urban areas in a perspective of a social and economic revitalization.
